Lufthansa, Germany's flag carrier changed their name to Air Europe, Europe's airline. The sudden change came after Lufthansa Management soon realised that the airline became more well known and associated with Europe than just Germany and made the decision to change to Air Europe.

All of the Lufthansa flights are still operating alongside quite a few new Air Europe flights which has increased the airline's dialy passenger count. Currently Air Europe operates 151 daily routes to 79 destinations with a fleet of 26 aircraft, all proudly showing off the new Air Europe logo.

In addition to the starter hub at Frankfurt Airport, Air Europe sucessfully opened 2 more hubs at Munich Airport and at London Heathrow Airport in the United Kingdom. Currently the airline has got a 62% market share at Frankfurt Airport, 52% at Munich and 60% at London Heathrow.

Air Europe now operates a mix of Airbus A320-200, Boeing 737-300 and BAe-146-100 all serviced by world-class flight and cabin crew, making any flight with Air Europe an unforgettable experience of ultimate comfort and luxury in the sky.

Air Europe announced today as part of their European expansion plans, the airline launched another hub in Rome, Italy at Rome Leonardo Da Vinci Airport. Previously known as Lufthansa, the airline recently rebranded as Air Europe which calls for extensive European expansion. The CEO of Air Europe said that the airline will definitely live up to its name becoming THE airline of Europe.

Air Europe launched services from Rome with the Airbus A320-200, with a few more on order due to be deployed at the airport. The airline will also an Air Europe CityLineItalia which will serve smaller airports in and around Italy.

As mentioned before, Air Europe is about to enter the International market and revealed that the first few orders for long-haul aircraft has been placed. As always, the world will have to wait for yet another Air Europe launch!
