(Unrelated Note: If I call the airline American Airways, ignore it. I just can't get that out of my head)

We're proud to announce the release of American Airlines, on this 2nd of April of 1994! We are widely known as America's flag carrier, although we are not. (But should be!) We serve 12 destinations out of 1 hub and 1 focus city, Denver and Toronto. (8 domestic and 4 international). We plan to add more international and domestic destinations soon, and are in the process of creating a focus city in Miami!

We are operating with 3 737-300's, which are divided into 3 classes. (Economy, First and Business). All aircraft are custom designed by American Airlines for increased comfort, including more legroom, seats that are more comfortable and fully reclining seats in business. All seats include Video On Demand. We have also put in an order for 1 Beriev Be-32KM, 1 ATR72-210 and 1 Learjet 55C for short hops. We hope to expand our fleet soon.

For flight crews, we have high tech cockpits with new control surfaces, making for easier flying and less chance of pilot error, resulting in safer and smoother flights.

CEO Daniel Kang announced that the airline will be covering many destinations not covered by the other major airlines, such as United, USAir, or Southwest.

Miami International Airport is now an official Focus City. In doing so, we have opened route MIA-OAJ at a frequency of 0.5 and we will be implementing more routes once we have the aircraft to do so.
