Nomination
I would like to nominate my hub, Calgary International Airport for this award./ Je voudrais nommer mon moyeu, Calgary l'Aéroport international pour ce prix.
Calgary Airport Facts and Figures:
Total Land Area- 21.34 Square Kilometers
Airfield Taxiway, Runway, Apron Area-1.76 Square Kilometers
Air Terminal Building Gross Floor Area- 141,648 Square Meters
Westjet is Calgary's largest airline and the only airline to consider YYC a hub or focus city; but as a major crossroads through Western Canada, YYC is expected to expand soon!/ Westjet est la plus grande compagnie aérienne de Calgary et la seule compagnie aérienne pour considérer YYC la ville de foyer ou un moyeu; mais comme un croisement important par le Canada Occidental, on s'attend à ce qu'YYC se développe bientôt!
The terminal has three concourses, one of which is subdivided into two wings, one wing to accommodate international flights, and another wing to accommodate international flights to the United States utilizing the airport's US border preclearance facilities.
But besides the hard facts, Calgary doesn't have that "mega-hub" feel.
Calgary Airport also offers over 100 restaurants and shops to occupy time before or after your flight. The wide array of restaurants includes Chili's, Euro Cafe, Palimino, Sbarro, and...of course, the ubiquitous Tim Hortons!/ L'Aéroport de Calgary offre aussi plus de 100 restaurants et magasins pour occuper le temps avant ou après votre vol. La large matrice de restaurants inclut Chili's, le Café d'Euro, Palimino, Sbarro et ... évidemment, Tim Hortons doué d'ubiquité!
So choose Calgary International airport...both as your final destination and the winner of this award!/ Choisissez donc Calgary l'aéroport international ... tant comme votre destination finale que le vainqueur de ce prix!

Air India Application for Airport Services Award.
Here at Air India, we believe that the passenger should have only the finest travel experience, from the time they get to the airport, till they leave the airport at their destination.
Our homebase is Delhi International Airport's Terminal 3, one of the finest in the world. We operate the 15 gate "Ayodhya Wing" of the airport. The Ayodhya Wing is almost a terminal within a terminal, with its own check in, security, immigration, and baggage claim. We plan to expand the Ayodhya Wing upon arrival of our new aircraft, and it will eventually house all Star Alliance flights to and from the airport.
Your word class experience starts right at the beginning, with affordable parking, and swift shuttle bus service to the terminal. Alternatively, you can use one of our 5 conveniently located curbside check in kiosks.
Once you get into the terminal, the check in process is quick and easy, with our 15 check in slots more than able to handle the passenger load (3 for Maharaj Class passengers, two for Flying Returns Gold and Silver passengers, and 10 for Economy Class passengers. Our Security is equally expedited, with 7 lanes for economy class passengers, and 3 express lanes for Maharaj Class and Flying Returns Elite passengers. Immigration makes it easy to get in and out of the country, with 34 lanes flowing passengers in each direction.
Once you get past security, there are a plethora of options to keep you occupied.
Maharaj Class and Flying Returns Gold passengers get access to our exclusive Emperor's Lounge. Each Emperor's Lounge has comfortable seats, and all the amenities you could wish for. Productivity Hounds can use our complementary computer workstation with free internet access, or catch up on the news with our selection of 50 newspapers, and almost 200 magazines. If you'd rather relax, use one of our 20 deluxe rooms, with beds, showers, and television. If you fancy something to drink, just ask for it at our well-stocked bar. If you prefer a snack, take one from our grab-n-go counters, or sit down for a gourmet 3-course meal at our in-lounge restaurant. There are two Emperor's Lounges in the Ayodhya Wing.
Do not fear if you aren't flying Maharaj Class. You could visit our free terminal Movie Theater which shows Indian film hits. There are the more than 50 stores of all different ranges for our more shopaholic friends. You can crab a bite to eat at one of our more than 70 restaurants, with both affordable and upscale dining options. Catching up on the news and finding something to read is quite easy, with our 4 newsstands and in terminal Borders- the largest airport bookstore in the world. And if you're up for a true thrill ride, buy a seat on the Ayodhya Express, our terminal's roller coaster which takes you on a tour of the airport (indoors and outside) at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour. In fact, there's so much to do at our terminal, that it seems more like a mall than an airport.
When you reach the departure lounge, our plush seats and wide open spaces make for a comfortable waiting area. Each pair of gates has a toilet so that you don't have to walk all the way across the terminal. Each pair of gates also has a bar, snack shop, and espresso lounge for your pleasure. The boarding process is speedy and quick, because we use two kiosks to board people instead of the customary 1. And when you enter the door to the Jetway, Your Palace in the Sky awaits you.
